Topic Food-Pack 2007 & Rubber Plas 2007 17th Malaysia International Food Processing & Packaging, Rubber, Plastic, Moul Objectives The main objective of the 17th Malaysia International Rubber, Plastic, Mould and Die Industry Technology Exhibition (Rubber-Plas Malaysia) is to develop the nation's manufacturing industry with special attention given to the Small and Medium Industry (SMIs) to further develop and keep ahead with the competitive environment. Food processing industry in Malaysia is largely dominated by small and medium industries, catering, mainly for the domestic market. Small and medium scale food enterprises have played a very important role in the Malaysian economy, particularly in terms of employment generation, better income distribution and as training ground for entrepreneurs before they invest in large enterprises.
