Under the Application of Laws Act, Chapter 2, industrial Design registration in UK automatically extend to Brunei without the necessity of local registration. There is no provision for independent industrial design registration in Brunei. The UK registration certificate is prima facie evidence of the registration and of particulars in the certificate.
